A new Lord of the Rings film is coming, with Peter Jackson's involvement!

Following the sad announcement that King Théoden himself, Bernard Hill had passed away, news broke this week that on a Warner Bros. investor call, CEO David Zaslav revealed that Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens were working on a brand new The Lord of the Rings film. It currently has the working title The Hunt for Gollum, and will be directed by and star the master of mo-cap, Andy Serkis. Slated for a 2026 release, the film will "explore storylines yet to be told" according to Zaslav.

What these storylines are, we're not sure, but the online speculation based on the working title is that it will look at Aragorn and Gandalf's search for Gollum in the time period between Bilbo's 111th birthday party, and Frodo leaving on his quest (which in the novel is 17 years).

What is for certain is that it's a great time to be a Lord of the Rings fan, and an even better time to be a collector, as we already have more products in the works for release later this year! In the meantime, you can shop our current range below.
