Back to the Future was released in 1985 by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment and was distributed by Universal Pictures. The films are focussed on the time travelling adventures of a high school student called Marty and inventor Doc Brown who travel into the past, present and future. The first film became a phenomenon which led to two more films, a video game, a tv series and a stage musical.
Great Scott! Back to the Future is the boss's favourite film, he even organised for a DeLorean to come down to Fanattik HQ (check out the pictures on our social media). Six months before the world premiere of the Back to The Future the Musical we were invited down to the very first rehearsals and were even asked for our feedback which was a great honour. We also met up with Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis there as well. We would have posted about it at the time, but it was top secret, no pictures allowed, and we couldn't mention anything on social media.
